On BGG's Undead Noise with Mistress Barbie and the Primal Root we had special guest John Amplas on for an exclusive interview to talk about his work with Pittsburgh Playhouse, his various film work he has done with George A. Romero including Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Martin to just name a few. We also discussed the upcoming trailer to Scott Golderg's The Three which has Amplas filming in some of the original 1986 Day of the Dead film locations. I have been a long fan of John Amplas since I am an avid collector of Russo's Living Dead & Romero's Dead film series. The Night of the Living Dead (1968) and Dawn of the Dead (1978) even though made years before I was born are two of my all time favorite movies. I have probably watched these movies over a 1,000+ times each over the years. Take note, that this is not an exaggeration. I attended Scarefest Convention 2010 just to meet the cast members of these two films. It is often surreal to meet people you have saw many times over your lifetime, and you feel you know them in a way so meeting them in person was something else. In the interview we had some tech and audio problems but we still managed to finish. It was great having John on and you can learn more about him and his projects at his website at http://www.johnamplas.com
