SAC CON (Event Report)

Sunday December 11, 2011 show caters to “Comic” & “Anime” fans, many of whom will attend dressed as their favorite Comic Book, and Anime characters. Special guests include Jhonen Vasquez, writer/artist, cartoonist on Invader Zim and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Rikki Simmons, voice actor as the robot dog in Invader Zim, Angus Oblong, creator of the animated television series The Oblongs, and Dan Brereton, comic book artist, for comics such as Black Terror, The Nocturnals, JLA, and The Gunwitch. This year the TOYS FOR TOTS and the US Marines will be at SAC to help bring joy to those who need it most during this holiday season.


Sacramento, CA - SAC CON will be held at the Scottish Rite Center on Sunday December 11th, 2011 from 10am to 5pm. The Scottish Rite Center is located at 6151 H Street, across from Sac State University. The event is open to the public, who may pay at the event itself. Registration for Sunday is $6.00. (There is a $1 discount if you bring a toy to donate to TOYS FOR TOTS!) There will be dozens of vendors on hand selling Comic & Anime related merchandise, comic books, imported toys, dvds, video games, original art and much more. Highlights include:
