Sour Patch Kids Unveil Sweet New Trailer

First they're sour, then they're sweet, and soon they'll be invading your console. Sour Patch Kids will be featured in an upcoming downloadable title called World Gone Sour from Capcom. The game will release for the PlayStation Network on April 10, 2012 with an Xbox LIVE Arcade release coming on April 11, 2012. Read on for more details, and check out the brand new story trailer below!

Based on the popular Sour Then Sweet candy Sour Patch Kids, World Gone Sour takes players on a journey from the perspective of a lost piece of candy finding its way to its ultimate destination – the human stomach. Gamers take on the role of a miniature Sour Patch Kid in a stylized human-sized world, guiding the hero through unique locations such as the sticky floors of a movie theatre and a spooky shack. Players will need to use a combination of jumps, twists and puzzle-solving to negotiate and overcome larger than life obstacles. The console versions will allow for two friends to team up for local co-op play and will include support for global leaderboards, as well as Microsoft Achievements and PlayStation® trophies. World Gone Sour will be available on PlayStation Network for $4.99 and on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 400 Microsoft Points. In addition, the game will feature the recently released “World Gone Sour (The Lost Kids)” track from Grammy award-winning hip-hop artist Method Man. The journey of the Sour Patch Kids will include additional star personality with cheeky narrations by actor Creed Bratton (“The Office”), who will provide snack-sized quips and tidbits throughout the game.
