Resistance: Burning Skies is the fifth title in the Resistance franchise and the first to be built from the ground up specifically for the PlayStation Vita and its unique features. The system's dual analog sticks allow for precision shots not typically seen in handheld shooters, while the system's touch screen gives players a variety of ways to attack their opponents.
To help you get geared up for the game, SCEA has released two new videos detailing more of the features you'll find in the game as well as some sweet new gameplay clips. One trailer introduces you to New York firefighter Tom Riley and explains his motives for fighting off the alien invasion, while the multiplayer trailer details online play with up to 8 players across the game's 6 maps and 3 game modes. Taking place in the Resistance storyline between Resistance 2 and Resistance 3, Resistance: Burning Skies follows New York City firefighter Tom Riley as he experiences first-hand the initial days of the Chimeran assault across the U.S. eastern seaboard.
