NBA All-Star Kevin Love First Member of Team Ghost

To help promote their highly anticipated game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Ubisoft is constructing a team of four celebrities that will comprise Team Ghost. The first member of the celebrity team is none other than Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star power forward Kevin Love. When questioned about his induction to Team Ghost, Love said, "I'm excited to be a member of Team Ghost and that first guy out there on the battlefield. Just like on the basketball court, my role on this team is to be a long range shooter. After winning the three-point contest this year, I proved that long range is my specialty so I'll be a sniper on this squad." This is shaping up to be a huge promotion and a talented team, so make sure you read on for more details!

About Kevin Love

Putting the entire NBA on notice with his consistently record-breaking performances, two-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love, champion of the 2012 NBA All-Star Three-Point contest and recipient of the 2011 NBA Most Improved Player Award, continues to prove that he is the real deal. One of the league’s top rebounders, the 6’10” Minnesota Timberwolves power forward holds the modern-day record for the longest streak of consecutive games recording double-doubles at 53, breaking Hall of Famer Moses Malone’s record of 51. Helping to lead Team USA to the gold medal in the 2010 FIFA World Championships, Love, a Portland native, was selected in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft. He enjoyed a stellar college basketball career at UCLA, where he led the team to a Final Four appearance and earned honors as Pac-10 Rookie of the Year and Pac-10 Player of the Year. In addition to his phenomenal play on the court, Love’s funnyman personality has deemed him a media and fan favorite off the court as well. He is an avid Tweeter and shares his commentary on his popular GQ.com blog. Utilizing his platform as an NBA player to help others, each winter he hosts “Kevin Love’s Coat Drive,” collecting coats that are distributed to those in need and is a Hoops for St. Jude Ambassador for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Love is the son of former NBA forward Stan Love and nephew of Beach Boys’ singer Mike Love. Follow Love on Twitter @kevinlove.
