Possible Release Date Leaked For Upcoming Grand Theft Auto V

One of the great things about modern gaming is that we get to learn things through the Internet long before game publishers and developers intend for consumers to know. In the most recent invasion of business privacy, we learn that the highly anticipated game Grand Theft Auto V may be releasing later in 2012. A member of the XboxSupport Twitter team known as BB is quoted as saying, "Grand Theft Auto 5, will be out later this year ^BB." Here at BioGamer Girl, we're hoping that BB knows what he's talking about, so we can get our greedy little hands on this awesome release sooner than anticipated. We also hope that BB doesn't get fired over spilling the beans all over the Internet for the world to see. While little is known about Rockstar's upcoming game Grand Theft Auto V, we do know it will once again be set in Grand Theft Auto's equivalent of Los Angeles, California known appropriately as Los Santos. In addition, this present day environment is said to be home to the title character who allegedly is a former mobster looking to make it big in the film industry, and of course, make tons of money doing so. If previous entries in the series are anything to go on, you can expect this to be one of the best open-world, sandbox shooters available when it actually does release. Grand Theft Auto V does not have an official release date, but it is expected to release later this year or in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Grand Theft Auto V is not yet rated.

For more information on the game, check out the official Grand Theft Auto V website.
