Of Orcs and Men Coming to North America

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Cyanide have revealed a distribution agreement for the fall 2012 release Of Orcs and Men for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC in North America.

Of Orcs and Men is a role-playing game set in a medieval fantasy world where gamers step into the unique perspectives of an orc and a goblin, battling their human persecutors and fighting for the freedom of their races.  The appointed veteran orc soldier, Arkail, joins together with the stealthy goblin, Styx, to complete the ultimate mission to end the war: kill the Emperor who is leading the humans’ quest to extinguish both races.  Single players can switch back and forth, playing both races at different times, allowing players to utilize the fighting styles and strengths of both the orc and the goblin.  Of Orcs and Men was jointly developed by Cyanide and Spiders Games.

“We are very pleased to partner with Cyanide to distribute Of Orcs and Men,” said Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The distribution of this strong fantasy title will make a great addition to our fall line-up of games.”

“Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is definitely one of the best partners in the industry,” said Patrick Pligersdorffer, President, Cyanide. “We are very excited to collaborate with them, as we work together to make Of Orcs and Men a success in North America.”

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will distribute Of Orcs and Men, lending sales and marketing resources throughout North America. More information about the project can be found at www.oforcsandmen.com.
