Nintendo Releases Nintendo 3DS XL and New Super Mario Bros. 2 This Week

Developer and publisher Nintendo have made two big releases this week that include both New Super Mario Bros. 2, which can be purchased exclusively for Nintendo 3DS for the MSRP of $39.99, and the launch of a new handheld system in the Nintendo 3DS XL, which can be purchased for MSRP of $199.99. The new game takes us back to the Mushroom Kingdom where a Gold Coin invasion is happening, and you can even take control of an all new Gold Mario and shoot Golden Fireballs at your enemies. Two players can also link up their games and systems for cooperative gameplay throughout the game.

Of course, many players will be experiencing New Super Mario Bros. 2 on their brand new Nintendo 3DS XL which launched this week as well giving players a much bigger screen on which to experience their favorite games. The new console also allows you to change how much 3D effect you experience while playing your games, gives you a motion and gyro sensor for unique controls in-games, comes with a built-in 3D camera, is backwards compatible with all other Nintendo DS titles and allows you to share games and data with nearby gamers with Street Pass.
