Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy Dimensions Release Date and The World Ends With You for iOS

Developer and publisher Square Enix announced the official release date for one of their most highly anticipated titles recently. The previously announced Final Fantasy Dimensions will finally release for iOS and Android next week on August 31, 2012 and can be purchased for $28.99 or $2.99-$3.99 per episode. The game will release in 13 episodes that will last players around three hours each and will see the return of classic gameplay and graphics with touch screen controls for the first time in the history of the series.

In addition, Square Enix will also announce that the highly popular handheld title The World Ends With You will be coming to to iOS later this year. The official announcement has yet to be made, but a recent posting for the game's soundtrack stated that the game would indeed be coming to the mobile platform later this year. You can expect new touch screen controls and other enhancements at a low price as with most other Square Enix mobile games when it does release.

Final Fantasy Dimensions is scheduled to release for iOS and Android on August 31, 2012 and can be purchased for $28.99. Final Fantasy Dimensions is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Final Fantasy Dimensions website.
