Star Wars: The Old Republic Free to Play in the Fall
EA has announced that their PC title Star Wars: The Old Republic will offer a free to play format beginning in the Fall. The free to play version will offer up all of the game's storyline for each of the eight classes already in the game and present players with a level cap of 50. Most other content will be restricted however, and it will only be able to be accessed again by purchasing and using in-game currency known as Cartel Coins or by paying the monthly subscription fee of $14.99. EA also announced that the game would receive another update sometime this month and dropped the price of the game to $14.99--a price that includes a one month membership to play the game. Free is always good, so get back to playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and May the Force Be With You!
