343 Industries Announces Details on Multiplayer Map Exile in Halo 4

Developer 343 Industries was busy this weekend revealing all sorts of details and releasing plenty of great videos and other content for their upcoming title Halo 4. The highly anticipated first-person shooter will be the first in the series for the developer, and plenty of new features will be coming to the game including enhancements for Capture the Flag, Grifball and Oddball, but what good is great new multiplayer modes without the maps? That's why we're excited to reveal to you details on the new map Exile for Halo 4; read on to learn more about the new multiplayer map for Halo 4.

EXILE - Miraculously, the survivors of the UNSC Diadochi’s violent crash managed to not only recover provisions from the vessel’s debris field, but also use it as a makeshift shelter for several years. When rescue and recovery teams finally arrived, they were surprised to discover a healthy, burgeoning community thriving within the ship’s remains. Now this wreckage serves as a battleground in War Games. ‘Exile’ is an earthy, circular canyon bed interconnected by a network of caves and favoring fast-paced vehicle combat, while still offering frantic, on-foot action.

Halo 4 is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release exclusively for Xbox 360 on November 6, 2012. Halo 4 is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Halo 4 website.
