Gerblins (Video Game Review)

Gerblins is the newest release from independent developer Butterscotch Shenanigans that is now available for Android, OSX and PC for Windows. The new puzzle title can be compared to Tetris meets Minesweeper with a great charm that is incomparable. In Gerblins, you will attempt to cure a deadly viral outbreak known as Gerblins that is afflicting a peaceful race known as the Blergs. Professor Blerg has finally created a potion that will cure a sick Blerg but can infect a healthy Blerg with the disease if you're not careful. The Blergs will indicate to you who the infected creatures are nearby, and you will release all of the designated creatures upon curing an infected creature. Try to cure the wrong Blerg and more will appear as they tower towards the top of the screen leading to your eventual demise. Gameplay in Gerblins is fun for the hardcore gamer and the casual alike.

Gerblins' fun gameplay is spread across 6 game modes that each feature 36 levels of Blerg curing fun. You'll also find a few great secrets while playing through the game that we won't spoil here, and local leaderboards will have you attempting and retrying each of the game's impressive collection of 216 stages numerous times in order get the highest possible scores.
