Hit PC Title Terraria Exploring the Downloadable Marketplaces of Consoles Soon

Publisher 505 Games has announced the hit PC game Terraria will be making its way to PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade in early 2013. The game first released for PC in 2011 and has since sold well over 1.6 million copies thanks to its addictive side-scrolling gameplay set in a vast, open-world. Originally released in 2011 on PC by creator-developer Andrew Spinks’ Re-logic studio; Terraria is a side-scrolling, action-adventure sandbox game, with an emphasis on crafting and exploration set in vast and vibrant worlds. It has received universal acclaim from media and fans alike — 1.6 million “Terrarians” have struck out on their own adventures since release.
