Joe Danger 2: The Movie Coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade Next Week

Independent developer Happy Games has announced their new title Joe Danger 2: The Movie will be releasing exclusively for Xbox LIVE Arcade on September 14, 2012. You will be able to pick up the new title next Friday for 1200 Microsoft Points to experience over 100 new scenes and 40 hours of gameplay. The great Joe Danger gameplay you've come to expect returns here as well with over 20 unique vehicles to drive through the game. Happy Games has also announced a price cut for the original Joe Danger Special Edition down to 600 Microsoft Points to celebrate the new game's launch. “The launch of Joe Danger 2: The Movie on September 14 will provide fans a new chapter with our iconic hero,” said Hello Games’ managing director Sean Murray. “We're incredibly proud of this game as it represents the vision and goals we set out to achieve two years ago. We're a small team, and this is huge game, supporting features like global level sharing and online ghosts of everybody who has ever played the game.”

“When we started Joe Danger 2, we said it would be the last in the series, so it had to be perfect” Murray added. “Finishing makes me feel a heady mix of elation and sadness. We're celebrating because we're excited to finally let people play this game we love. I hope we've given Joe the sendoff he deserves; we want it to be a game that people remember five years from now."
