Receive the Legendary Pokemon Keldeo Now at GameStop

Nintendo and Game Freak recently announced a promotion where players can acquire the free legendary Pokemon Keldeo at GameStop now through October 6, 2012 at GameStop. The water and fighting Pokemon appears as no. 153 in the Unova Pokedex and can actually change forms based on the moves it has learned. To get your free Keldeo, all you have to do is head to your local GameStop with your copy of Pokemon Black or White and your Nintendo DS and choose Mystery Gift from the game's main menu, then head into the game, add Keldeo to your party and save your game. Make sure you catch this elusive Pokemon today and read on for more details!

Because the Colt Pokémon cannot be found during normal gameplay, this distribution is the only way Pokémon players can receive it at this time. During the distribution period, August 27, 2012 through to the October 6, 2012, Pokémon fans can bring their handheld console from the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo DS family of systems and a copy of Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version to GAME stores and receive a Keldeo that knows Aqua Jet, Leer, Double Kick, and BubbleBeam. As a Fighting- and Water-type Pokémon, Keldeo excels at moves that are super effective against seven different Pokémon types: Normal, Fire, Ice, Ground, Rock, Dark, and Steel.

Powerful in its own right, when transferred into Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2, Keldeo will learn its signature move, Secret Sword, and transform into Resolute Form, a new look that features a more prominent horn on its head. Secret Sword is a Fighting-type move, well suited to Keldeo’s high Special Attack stat. And, because Keldeo can learn this move from the very first stages of Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2, it will be a powerful ally as you continue your adventure.

Pokemon Black/White Version 2 is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $34.99 and is scheduled to release exclusively for Nintendo DS on October 7, 2012. Pokemon Black/White Version 2 is rated E by the ESRB for Comic Mischief & Mild Cartoon Violence. For more information on the game, check out the official Pokemon Black/White Version 2 website.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups. The fair's massive Ferris Wheel towered high in the sky and helped light up the event, while the Moby Dick ride and Gravitron also looked fearsome and stood tall even from a distance. Plenty of ...
