Sticky Linky (Video Game Review)

Sticky Linky is a new puzzle game designed by Arello Mobile and published by Alawar Entertainment. You progress through Sticky Linky by clicking or touching globs of matching colors. Each click will cost you a little mana, and if you run out, you'll have to restart your current stage. When you match five or more globs together, you form an all new creature that must be cleared in order to progress through each stage. It's an addictive formula that will have you coming back even after you've completed some stages just to enjoy the entertaining and charming natures of the game.

Although the basic rules of Sticky Linky are simple enough, there are plenty of special stages in the game that come with a whole set of new rules. The game's crazy physics will have your creatures bouncing all around some maps, some stages will have your glob floating away encased inside bubbles, underwaters stages will require you to keep fish from eating your globs while playing, nighttime stages don't allow globs to transform into new creatures and many other factors go into the game's various stages. Sticky Linky manages to always keep you on your toes by offering a challenging but incredibly fun playstyle.

With 54 stages in the game, it'll take you a long time just to clear each of the puzzling levels in Sticky Linky. Once you've earned 400,00 career coins or more, you'll unlock the bonus Zen Mode for even more challenges. The game features over 30 achievements that will have you taking on obscure tasks in order to unlock each badge to show off to your friends. The game also features local leaderboards giving you even more incentive to keep playing the game you already love.

Sticky Linky is a fine looking game. While some of the game's animations are a bit lacking, you will barely notice thanks to the game's quirky characters funny facial expressions as they react to what is going on around them. A great soundtrack draws you in and only adds to the game's fun tone it tries to set from the get go. Great controls that are very responsive even when things get hectic on screen round out a nearly flawless presentation.

If you're looking for a great puzzle title on your PC or mobile device, look no further. Sticky Linky is a tremendous game whose globtastic fun will have you hooked from your first game session. There's plenty to see and do in the game, and each stage introduces you to something completely different as you progress through its entirety. Sticky Linky isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn close. The biggest complaint you'll have with this game is why it ever has to end! Check out Sticky Linky on your platform of choice today.

Sticky Linky is now available for PC and iOS and can be purchased for $6.99 on PC and $0.99 on iOS. For more information on Sticky Linky, check out the official Alawar Entertainment website.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
