Tripwire Interactive Pledges Killing Floor's Ash Harding Character Proceeds to Veteran Charity

Developer Tripwire Interactive has announced that their upcoming Ash Harding character skin sales for their hit game Killing Floor will go directly to the 8-Bit Salute to Veterans charity. The nationwide event kicks off on November 10, 2012 and will take over a variety of venues including Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas and Chicago in an effort to raise awareness for military veterans and give something back to those that have sacrificed everything for our country. You can pick up the Ash Harding Character Pack today for only $4.99 and add the only female playable character to your Killing Floor experience while giving something back to charity. Check it out and read on to learn more.

"Here at Tripwire Interactive, we've supported Operation Supply Drop very quietly over the last couple of years. We also promised our community that we would donate 10% of the revenue from the digital sales of 'Ash Harding', our first female DLC character for Killing Floor, to charity. On seeing OSD's Salute to Veterans' posting, we decided this is the perfect combination. So all the money raised for charity from those sales will go to OSD, for them to use to provide the troops out in the dirt with some entertainment. We strongly encourage anyone else who can participate to do so. Think of it like this:every time you terminate a Zed while playing as Ash Harding, you're also entertaining some of our troops out in the field. So get to it!"

Killing Floor is now available exclusively for PC. Killing Floor is rated M by the ESRB for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Partial Nudity & Strong Language. For more information on the game, check out the official Killing Floor website.
