Major League Gaming Announces Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Mortal Kombat at MLG Fall Championship‏

Major League Gaming (MLG) has announced that fighting games Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Mortal Kombat on PlayStation 3 (PS3) system will be a part of the MLG Fall Championship in Dallas with more than $30,000 in prizes on the line. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will make its Pro Circuit tournament debut in Dallas. The competition will run Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 and players will compete for $15,000 in prizes.

Mortal Kombat will return to the Pro Circuit with players competing on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 for a chance at $16,700 in prizes. Competitor passes are on sale now for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Mortal Kombat, or players can buy one pass to compete in both. In addition to fighting games, MLG previously announced the Fall Championship will feature a pre-release Halo 4 tournament with $40,000 in prizes and a StarCraft II tournament with $76,000 in prizes. Competitor passes for all games, along with spectator passes for fans to attend the event in person are available online. Additional event details will be released in the coming weeks.
