Marvel Makes Two Big Announcements as New York Comic-Con Begins

Marvel has made two big announcements with the opening of New York Comic-Con now upon us. For starters, gamers can now pick up the hit mobile game Avengers Initiative on sale for only $2.99 from October 11, 2012- October 14, 2012, and the Gladiator Hulk costume can be picked up for free during the promotional period as well. Avengers Initiative is the first Marvel title designed for mobile that allows players to battle against the world's strongest super villains who have escaped from S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and need to be rounded up and returned to their imprisonment. In addition, Marvel has announced that the hit social game Marvel: Avengers Alliance will be holding all new player versus player tournaments that will allow the most dedicated S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to earn some exclusive rewards each month and have a chance to unlock the ultimate prize--Deadpool as a playable character in Marvel: Avengers Alliance!
