Oh! Sheep (Video Game Review)

Oh! Sheep is an addictive new iOS title that challenges you to complete over 90 stages of insane sheep puzzle solving and adventure including an additional 8 bonus stages. The object of the game in Oh! Sheep is to use the combined powers of your sheep to escape each of the game's levels as quickly as possible while gathering magic berries and attaining the highest score possible. The game features high replay value on its incredible amount of levels alone, but you'll also keep coming back to Oh! Sheep to unlock all of the game's three star achievements after you've progressed though each of the game's main challenges.

Getting to the end of each stage will require you to draw a designated path for your sheep to take. As you progress through the game, Oh! Sheep gets more and more difficult by adding teleporters, laser traps that leave your sheep extra crispy if they pass through the hazard at the wrong time or robots that are quickly outwitted by our heroes but are definitely faster than your average sheep. Of course, you'll need to collect the necessary items to progress through any stage, and often times, you'll have to utilize all of your sheep in order to safely progress through each of the game's stages. Reaching your destination in Oh! Sheep feels rewarding without ever becoming too difficult making the game perfect for the casual gamer and hardcore alike.

Oh! Sheep features a charming soundtrack that complements the game's fun personality perfectly. The light hearted tunes will stick with you long after you've turned off the game, and the game's fun visuals and great gameplay make Oh! Sheep difficult to put down. Playing shepherd with your finger is a blast as you safely lead your sheep to safety but with plenty of twists that will test your puzzle solving skills and your reflexes. If you're looking for the next great iOS title, look no further than Oh! Sheep.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups. The fair's massive Ferris Wheel towered high in the sky and helped light up the event, while the Moby Dick ride and Gravitron also looked fearsome and stood tall even from a distance. Plenty of ...
