Planetside 2 Invades Homes Next Month

The latest competitor in the ever growing free to play market now has an official release date. Sony announced that Planetside 2 will be available for public download on November 20th for the low price of absolutely free! The successor to the original MMO-FPS returns with updated graphics, larger than life battles, and permanent character progression.

Sony also announced on their live-stream today that a third continent will soon be added to the global scale warfare. The Battle for Auraxis will soon commence, the swap infested planet is sure to provide a unique environment in today’s world of shooters.

Classic Planetside battles with the customization and upgrade system of more recent Call of Duty style shooters? Yes please, consider me incredibly excited for November 20th.
