Play Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth Demo At New York Comic Con

Ubisoft has revealed that Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth will be available for consumers to demo at New York Comic Con from October 11-14, 2012. Fans will be able to unleash their inner superhero in two separate locations on the Comic Con show floor. The game will be on display for hands-on demos in the Ubisoft booth (#1821) and inside the Marvel Comics booth (#1838).

Additionally, NYCC attendees who pre-order Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth on either platform at the Ubisoft booth will receive a code to redeem the digital comic, The Avengers by Brian Michael Bendis Vol.1 Collection #1-6, in the Marvel digital store. Comic aficionados will not only have the opportunity for hands-on time playing as some of Marvel’s iconic superheroes, but they will also be able to learn more about the game directly from the development team in a video game-exclusive panel. Battle for Earth will be featured in the “Marvel Video Games” panel which will be held in Room 1E13 from 11:15am – 12:15pm on Saturday, October 13.

Producer Pierre Leroux and Art Director Dan Vargas will be joined on stage with a special guest to provide in-depth information about the video game, and answer questions from the audience. Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth is the ultimate super hero brawler set in authentic comic book-style art environments based on the iconic Secret Invasion storyline. Battle for Earth provides endless entertainment through a variety of gameplay modes including co-op, campaign, arcade, challenges, versus and tournament. Fans will enjoy embodying their favorite Marvel super heroes or villains within the game including Avengers Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Loki. Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth will be released in North America on Kinect for Xbox 360 on October 30th and Nintendo’s Wii U system this Holiday.
