Rocksmith and Bass Edition Headed To Stores

Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of Rocksmith guitar and bass edition have shipped to stores along with the re-release of the original standard edition game on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Playstation 3 computer entertainment system. The titles on all platforms will include the Bass Expansion pack and the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. Fans can pick up the video game for $79.99, and the bundle for $199.99 that includes an Epiphone Les Paul Junior guitar, bass expansion and Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. Rocksmith is rated “T” for Teen. For more information visit the official Rocksmith website.

Features/Content/Details for Rocksmith:
  • The Real Tone Cable is a unique 1/4” to USB cable that is the first of its kind, developed exclusively for Rocksmith. This revolutionary cable turns the instruments signal from analog to digital, allowing it to be recognized and played through video game consoles for the first time. Bass arrangements have been added to all of the existing in-game tracks and previously released DLC tracks that feature bass parts, effectively doubling your music experience with Rocksmith guitar and bass Edition. Not only can you play the bass parts of songs, bassists of all experience levels can also improve their skills like 2-finger plucking, slapping, and popping with dedicated bass technique challenges, tutorial videos and mini-games. You can even use any 6-string guitar to emulate a 4-string bass. You’ll also gain access to all-new bass guitar features, including tutorials, bass pedals, amps, technique challenges and bass support for the Guitarcade games. Tracking your learning has never been easier as bass progression is tracked separately from guitar progression.
  • Rocksmith guitar and bass edition is the first and only video game where players can plug any real guitar or bass with a standard 1/4” input jack into an Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system or PC and play through an in-depth library of music including everything from the latest hits to classic rock songs. Rocksmith features gameplay that automatically adjusts to the player’s skill level, and will engage experienced musicians as well as those who are picking up a guitar for the first time. Players will be able to choose from actual lead, rhythm, and combo guitar compositions, inspiring players to perform songs after the game is turned off.
