The Witcher 2 Now Available For Mac

During its Fall Special Event, the critically acclaimed game developer CD Projekt RED, announced the worldwide premiere of The Witcher 2:Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for Mac computers. The game, which entertained over 2 million players on PC and Xbox 360 is available on the 100% DRM-free distribution platforms GOG.com and Steam. This is the second title the Polish developer has launched for Apple’s platforms, having released the first installment of the Witcher series earlier this year. To celebrate this release, GOG.com and Steam have prepared special offers for all gamers. The Witcher 2 is 25% off and The Witcher is 50% for 48 hours (until the 20th October 2012).

Defining new standards for realistic, non-linear game narration, The Witcher 2 spins a mature, thought-provoking story in one of the most unique RPGs ever released and the greatest title of this genre for Mac computers in years. Each decision made by the player may have dire consequences, and could have a major impact on future events and how the world unfolds. The Witcher 2 for Mac and GOG’s new Apple offer were just a few pieces of news the game development studio presented during their Special Event. CD Projekt RED also announced the official title of its upcoming release, the futuristic RPG - Cyberpunk 2077. Alongside with Mike Pondsmith, the designer of the original Cyberpunk 2020 pen and paper RPG, the devs presented the vision for their adaptation of his world. The game will be a multi-thread, robust RPG, taking place in the sandbox environment of Night City. The game designers are preparing a detailed world full of tech advanced gadgets, weapons and bio-implants.
