Vampire Season―Monster Defense (Video Game Review)

You probably read our review earlier this year for a little game called Vampire Season. Well, developer Brainz Games is back this month with their newest version of the game, and if you decided not to pick up the spooky title back in June, there has never been a better time to pick up Vampire SeasonMonster Defense than right now. Version 2.1 of the game is now being distributed under publisher ZIO Studios, and there are plenty of updates, tweaks and enhancements coming to the new title as well.

Vampire SeasonMonster Defense is a tower defense game blended with real time strategy elements with a horror comedy twist. In the game, you must protect Count Dracula and his castle from being overrun by arrogant jocks, powerful vampire hunters and even the creepy interior decorators. You will have a variety of monsters at your disposal that can be summoned to fight and protect the castle from these outside invaders, and you can even create powerful fusion monsters for even more defense. With 30 different levels and a Survival mode, there's always something to do in Vampire SeasonMonster Defense!

One of the recent tweaks to the game includes impressive new 3D graphics that take advantage of the powerful Retina Display of the iPad and iPhone 5. Vampire SeasonMonster Defense has never looked better, and the game already featured impressive graphics in the previous version. You can also see the action better than before thanks to improved camera controls that allow you to quickly span or pinch zoom the camera to get a better look at your minions' crazy antics. In addition, a new in-game currency has been added called sapphires that will allow you to unlock even more great items for use in the game, and of course, you can purchase additional sapphires, coins, upgrade orbs and more while playing the game. Another huge addition is the Horror Roulette in Survival Mode that adds even more challenging gameplay based on luck!

Essentially, Vampire SeasonMonster Defense has simply gotten better with its new release, and with Halloween coming up soon, there's never been a more appropriate time to pick up the game. $1.99 is a fantastic deal for a game that will give you hours upon hours of incredibly exciting gameplay. With impressive graphics, hilarious interactions, plenty of great characters, addictive gameplay and a host of other new features, Vampire SeasonMonster Defense is a must own title for all iOS owners. Tower defense games continue to grow in popularity each day, and Brainz Games has definitely taken notice and produced one of the best ever with Vampire SeasonMonster Defense. Check it out today!
