Wii Price Drop to $129.99, Includes Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort

As of today the MSRP for the Nintendo Wii will drop to $129.99 right in time for the holiday shopping season. Nintendo plans to have it available nationwide by October 29th with some locations seeing units as soon as later this afternoon. The bundle will ship with the Black Wii console, Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuck, and Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort on one disc. This bundle is set to replace the current bundle that comes with New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort are two of the best selling and more family friendly titles that the Wii has to offer. Both offer a fun sports experience that people of all gaming skill levels will be sure to enjoy.

Oddly enough, the price drop is just about one month out from the launch of the Wii U, the successor to the Wii itself. If you've been holding out on purchasing a Wii or are still skeptical of the Wii U, look for the new budget priced bundles in a store near you.
