Call of Duty Black Ops 2 First Impressions

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-person shooter, which is developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, that  released today for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

After spending a few hours with the title I can say a few things:

 1.    Michael Bay would be proud. There are enough explosions here to satisfy even his craving for destruction
 2.    It's still the same Call of Duty you've either grown to love or hate. The wheel has not be re-invented, only refined to be a bit more smooth
 3.    The future portions of the game feature some gadgets that could make James Bond feel a step behind. You'll see some new toys that'll make you wonder what war will be like in 20 years
 4.    Zombies. It's still one of the best modes in gaming. Get some friends, watch the hours go by

There you have it, my prevailing thoughts after a few hours taking the new beast for a spin. Look later this week for a full review! If we're able to pull ourselves away from the console long enough to write one that is. If you haven't seen it within a week please, send help.
