Resident Evil 5 Free for Playstation Plus

The newest installment of the Resident Evil franchise, RE6 (or in Japan, Biohazard 6), has not only regained the interest of longtime fans, but also garnered some attention from gamers with no experience in the long-standing action-adventure genre series.

Playstation gamers are in luck; with the November 5th update to the Playstation Store, Resident Evil 5 is free for all Playstation Plus members. The 2009 game release features Chris Redfield, one of RE6's protagonists, and takes place in Kijuju, a fictional town in Africa.

RE5 is meant to be played cooperatively, either with a friend or with the game's AI.
