A blog post released by Ted Tsung, the North American producer of
“Tales of Xillia,” confirmed that the English voice recording session
was just completed. “Tales of Xillia,” the 13th installment of the Tales
RPG series, exclusively for the PS3, was released only in Japan in
September of 2011 to the chagrin of international gamers.
While the North American PS3 exclusive, “Tales of Graces F,” managed to tide over some fans, the fans clamored to bring Xillia over to the Western market. Finally, Hideo Baba, the producer of the Tales series, announced the plan to bring Xillia over to North American and European territories.
Namco has reported that in Japan, the game has sold 740,000 copies, making it one of the most best-selling titles in the series.
With “Final Fantasy versus XIII,” “Kingdom Hearts 3,” and “Persona 5” projected to also come out in 2013, it looks like it'll be an exciting year for JRPG fans.
