November is the biggest month in 2012 for video game releases, and PlayStation owners will be sure to find a great new game to enjoy for their PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita just in time for the holidays. Of course, plenty of people will be looking for the best releases to gift to others in the coming months as well, and luckily, there are plenty of great games you could make gifts as well. Here are the Top 5 PlayStation Releases for November!

5. Hitman: Absolution (PlayStation 3)
Hitman: Absolution is coming soon from developer I/O Interactive, and the newest release to the Hitman series will see the return of Agent 47 on a mission of vengeance after being betrayed by his former partners. The new game will contain plenty of new features including Sniper Challenges, custom hits and more. Of course, classic Hitman gameplay returns as you hunt down your prey in a living world where the best assassination is one that doesn’t look like a murder at all. Hitman: Absolution arrives on PlayStation 3 on November 20, 2012.

4. Persona 4 Golden (PlayStation Vita)
Persona 4 Golden marks the return of one of the best role playing games of all-time. The new release features the same classic storyline and is just as fun as you remember from several years back, however, Persona 4 Golden definitely isn’t a direct port. The new release features enhanced graphics, the ability to get nighttime jobs, additional difficulty settings, quicker load times, an enhanced fishing mini-game and plenty of other new features. PlayStation Vita owners can pick up the Solid Gold Edition for even more great content.

3. LittleBigPlanet Karting (PlayStation 3)
LittleBigPlanet Karting will release exclusively on PlayStation 3 later this month, and the game continues the story of one of PlayStation’s biggest mascots, Sackboy. Craftworld is under attack from a crazy group known as the Hoard, but luckily, Sackboy is able to get his hands on a vehicle fast enough to catch up to the Hoard and reclaim the treasures of Craftworld once again. The new release will contain plenty of high speed action with a variety of race mode, and new creation tools allow players to pick up and create their own custom games and tracks.

2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (PlayStation 3)
If you’re a gamer, you’ve played at least one Call of Duty title in the last 9 years, and developer Treyarch is ready to release the newest title to the franchise with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The new game takes players to a futuristic setting where America’s enemies have gained control of its remote powered armies, and the game’s multiplayer has been reimagined with new custom class options and high tech weaponry. In addition, Black Ops 2 will bring back the highly popular zombie mini-game with several new changes in tow.

1. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Vita)
Developer SuperBot Entertainment will be releasing their new title PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita later this month. The new fighting game will combine the forces of the greatest video game protagonists for the biggest fighting tournament in the history of gaming. The game features over 20 unique fighters and numerous maps that feature mashups of great video games on a single stage. With a variety of game modes, plenty of great characters and a great fighting system that will have PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale mentioned among the best games to be released on any console in 2012.
