Awakening: The Art of Halo 4 (Book Review)

Microsoft dropped a blockbuster announcement at E3 2011 when new developer 343 Industries revealed Halo 4 would be coming to Xbox 360 in 2012. The game officially released in November and been one of the best-selling games of the year and one of the most played games on the platform since its release. Halo 4 introduced fans to a brand new trilogy starring series protagonists John-117 aka the Master Chief and his trusty AI companion Cortana. One of the greatest new features for the release was 343 Industries' new graphical makeover for the game. From the breathtaking environments, to the attention to detail in character models down to realistic facial animations, Halo 4 has the best aesthetics of the series and some of the best ever seen in gaming.
