Crytek Introduces You to The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3
Developer Crytek and legendary filmmaker Albert Hughes will be teaming up the bring fans The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3 web series over the next few months. The new series will bring cinematic quality stories to fans of the series while showing off new weapons, features, gameplay segments and more for the upcoming release of Crysis 3. The cinematic shorts will also feature the astounding graphical quality, stunning environments and beautiful animations of CryEngine 3 that Crysis 3 will be built upon. Albert Hughes is known for his directorial work on such films as From Hell and Book of Eli, and now, he looks to tell the tale of Prophet and his adventures in the overgrown New York City Liberty Dome. “When EA and Crytek approached me about being involved in creating ‘The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3’ video series, I liked the idea of creating emotional stories using only computer generated images,” stated Albert Hughes. “The challenge of producing something intensely human without ever seeing a human on screen was incredibly compelling, and the technology of the CryENGINE that Crytek developed enabled me to do that and venture into a completely unique medium of storytelling.”
Crysis 3 is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and will release on February 19, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Crysis 3 is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Crysis 3 website.
