Dead Bodies Popping Up Everywhere; Assassin's Creed III Now Over 7 Million Units Sold

Developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced their new title Assassin's Creed III is now over 7 million units sold through its first month of being release making it the fastest selling title in the company's history. In addition, Ubisoft announced players have spent 82 centuries worth of time in single player missions, performed more than 3 million assassinations and maintained more than 250 million assassinations in 5 billion multiplayer sessions. These monumental announcements come after Ubisoft announced the upcoming release of Assassin's Creed III: Tyranny of King Washington for the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass. “The reception for Assassin’s Creed III has been exceptional, and this success has positioned the game among the best sellers of the 2012 holiday season” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “We knew we had something special on our hands when Assassin’s Creed III was launched, and we’re really excited and proud to see how much fans are enjoying the latest installment in the franchise.”

Assassin’s Creed III is now available from all major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and can be purchased for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
