Developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix have announced new preorder plans for their upcoming game Tomb Raider. Players who preorder the game now can jion in on the Tomb Raider virtual Scavenger Hunt promotion to win in-game DLC and have a chance to win even bigger prizes including Lara Croft statues, trips and more. The Scavenger Hunt began on December 18, 2012 and will run until the game's release date on March 5, 2013, as players participate in weekly trivia and photo contests to earn better prizes the more the game is played. Tomb Raider is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release on March 5, 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
