It may be the day after Christmas, but that hasn't stopped developer Visceral Games and publisher EA from giving fans a big surprise today. The two companies have announced the demo for their upcoming sequel Dead Space 3 will be arriving on January 22, 2013 exclusively on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. In addition, Xbox 360 gamers that want early access to the demo can sign-up now at the official Dead Space 3 website to gain a week early access to the demo on January 15, 2013. The demo will allow players to team up as series protagonist Isaac Clarke and newcomer Sergeant John Carver in an all new cooperative adventure full of horrors. Dead Space 3 is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 5, 2013.
