Rift 2.1: Eternal Eclipse Marks the Return of Regulos

Developer and publisher Trion Worlds has announced the upcoming release of Rift 2.1 and all of the great new content that comes with the latest update for the highly popular MMORPG. Starting on December 12, 2012, players can witness the return of Regulos and his ultra powerful axe of pain! Players can face off in epic 20-player battles against the otherwordly terror in a chapter known at the Eternal Eclipse. Players will also experience a new chapter when they face off with Crucia and her minions in her frozen citadel in the new chapter Chronicle: A Hero Rises. In addition, Rift will be spreading the holiday joy with all new festive decorations located throughout the world and special seasonal Dimension items to find and collect. Finally, Trion Worlds has also announced Rift players can login December 14, 2012 at 12:00 AM PST through December 18, 2012 at 11:59 PM PST for a chance to play the newly released Rift: Storm Legion for free. Rift: Storm Legion is now available from the Trion Worlds website and can be purchased for $39.99 or $49.99 for the standard edition or $59.99 or $69.99 for the Infinity Edition copy of the game. Rift Storm Legion is rated T by the ESRB for Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol & Violence.
