Sony knows fans are dying to get their hands on the upcoming release, God of War: Ascension, and while players will still have to wait until March to get their hands on the new game, Sony has announced a multiplayer beta will arrive on PlayStation Plus this month for the game. God of War: Ascension will see the return of Kratos and the epic God of War series, but the game will set a new trend for the series by being the first to include multiplayer game modes. Players will choose one of four gods to receive special items and powers bestowed upon them by their new faction and then enter battle to take on their enemies and take down a massive beast at the same time. The new video below shows off one of the new moves you’ll have at your disposal in God of War: Ascension’s multiplayer to make your own badass moments in March. Batter Up!
God of War: Ascension is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release exclusively for PlayStation 3 on March 12, 2013.
