Capcom has announced that a new free to download PC title called Street Fighter X Mega Man will be released on December 17, 2012 to celebrate the end of the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary celebration and begin the milestone for the Mega Man. The new 8-bit style release from superfan Seow Zong Hui will star Mega Man in a new adventure as he takes on tiny, robot versions of the fighting characters we've come to love over the last 25 years filling in for the final bosses of stages. The levels themselves will have themes tied to the Street Fighter series, and a new soundtrack created by A_Rival will feature collaborations between classic Street Fighter and Mega Man boss themes. Capcom has also promised great new content is on the way for the Mega Man 25th Anniversary and that they will make a big announcement for the event very soon.
