Ubisoft and New Regency Talk Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Film

Developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced the company will be teaming up with film studio New Regency to bring the world the first ever Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell movie in the near future. The film will star award-winning actor Tom Hardy and screenwriter Eric Warren Singer. The Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series debuted back in November 2002, and has spawned seven game including the upcoming Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist and six novels. Ubisoft recently announced an Assassin's Creed film is currently in development and slated for a 2013 or 2014 release, and we can't wait to see both films!
