Developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced the release date for the highly anticipated release of the standalone expansion, Might & Magic Heroes VI: Shades of Darkness. The new expansion will see the return of the loved character from the previous game, Raelag, as he attempts to save the cursed Dark Elves with the assistance of the Black Dragons, while a second campaign will let players take on the role of Vein the vampire hero to save the Spider Goddess, the Mother Namtaru, from a disease caused by the nefarious Dark Elf Netherlord Sandro. The new expansion will arrive for Might & Magic Heroes VI on February 28, 2013, and the same day, Ubisoft will release Might & Magic Heroes VI: Complete Edition featuring an enhanced version of the game, all bonus maps and items, the two DLC packs released so far for the game, the original soundtrack and the Shades of Darkness expansion. Fans can also currently access a brand new Might & Magic portal to learn even more about their favorite game. Look for all of this great content coming soon to the universe of Might & Magic Heroes VI!
