Video Game Training Gets Real With I-GAME

Developer IPKeys Technologies has announced an all new virtual simulator in partnership with Applied Research Associates and Epic Games, Inc. called I-GAME (IED Gaming and Modeling Environment). The all new virtual simulator is build on Unreal Engine 3 to provide the most realistic virtual training exercises to date to provide practical and safe Warfighter tactics, techniques and procedural training. The new software allows the mission planner to design specific missions for recruits with the assistance of sophisticated AI and plenty of in-game assets to recreate real life situations. “With Unreal Engine 3, IPKeys can now create the most realistic maps, locales, conditions, materials and virtual soldiers to match exactly what the Warfighter sees, uses and knows,” said Kirk Hymes, the Director for Modeling and Simulation Applications and U.S. Marine Corps Programs at IPKeys.
