CDProjekt Red Announces Futuristic RPG Cyberpunk 2077 with Teaser Trailer
Developer CDProjekt Red, creators of the hit Witcher franchise, has announced their next project entitled Cyberpunk 2077. The upcoming release takes players to a futuristic world in the year 2077 where futuristic technologies are plentiful and so are the interesting characters and storylines in the corrupt world. A new trailer has been released that focuses on one of the many storylines of the game when a cyber modified woman malfunctions and goes on a rampage that the cops are nearly powerless to stop. The infamous Psycho Squad is then called in to put a stop to the carnage and save anymore casualties. “The teaser shows how the Psycho Squad might acquire a new member. The Psycho Squad specializes in combating “psychos” – individuals who overuse implants and substances that boost or otherwise alter the human body. There comes a point when they overdose on these innovations, and their bodies start to rebel against their biological body parts as well as against all things organic around them. Simply put, they start killing people, who they now derisively call 'meatbags.'
