Dark Horse and Spicy Horse Teaming Up for American McGee Comic Series
Although we're definitely excited for the upcoming release of developer and publisher Spicy Horse's upcoming game Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, we've just learned even more great news on future content for the series. American McGee will be teaming up with comics publisher Dark Horse for an all new three-part series that is scheduled to debut on May 22, 2013. The series will take a look at and expand the universe of Akaneiro: Demon Hunters with a unique tale based on the classic children's story Little Red Riding Hood mixed with Japanese folklore. The world follows members of the Order of Akane on a quest to defeat the monstrous Yokai. The series will be written by Justin Aclin (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and illustrated by Vasilis Lolos (Conan the Barbarian).
