New Details Emerge for Resident Evil 6 DLC and the Status of the PC Release

We already knew developer and publisher Capcom's hit survival horror title Resident Evil 6 would be arriving for PC on March 22, 2013 on disc and digital download, and now we know the game will contain the PC exclusive game mode The Mercenaries: No Mercy. The new game mode will challenge players to battle against more enemies than ever before at a single time while allowing players to utilize special skills to take down those enemies. PC owners will also be allowed to play the Ada Wong campaign from the moment the game is booted up and do so with a cooperative partner. Capcom also announced the all new Siege mode DLC coming in March for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that will add a new mode for two teams, one infected and one survivors, as they battle to keep alive or kill an AI controlled rookie BSAA agent. Siege mode will cost players an additional 320 Microsoft Points or $3.99. PlayStation 3 gamers can also expect to see the previously unreleased Survivors, Predators and Onslaught added to PlayStation Network next month for $3.99 each. Finally, Capcom announced all four post launch add-ons will be arriving for PC gamers some time after March 22nd, and a free benchmark test to see how the game will run on the system arrives in February. Resident Evil 6 is now available from all major retailers and can be purchased for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is coming March 22, 2013 to PC.
