Painkiller: Hell and Damnation Gets Official Release Date for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

If you weren't able to catch the release of Painkiller: Hell and Damnation when it released for PC back in October, you'll be happy to learn developer The Farm 51 and publisher Nordic Games have announced the gory shooter will be making its way to consoles on April 5, 2013. The hit title features intense shooter action with a lengthy campaign spread across four large chapters and includes cooperative play and crazy competitive multiplayer modes for even more carnage and blood. Painkiller: Hell and Damnation can be purchased in standard edition for $29.99 on consoles, or for $39.99, players will gain access to the game plus an art book, making of DVD, original soundtrack, a multiplayer skin, and much more. “We have been working around the clock to bring the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game in line with the quality and standard of the PC game,” says Reinhard Pollice, Production and Business Development Manager, Nordic Games. “There has been a slight delay so that the console communities can enjoy the fiendishly ghoulish experience that we know they want and deserve. In taking this additional time to add the final touches, we know that players will realise that the best things do come to those who wait!”

Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is now available exclusively for PC and can be purchased for $19.99 and is coming soon to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for $29.99 or $39.99 for the Collector's Edition. Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is rated M by the ESRB for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence & Strong Language.
