Trion Worlds Announces Beta Event for Defiance Beginning Later This Month
Developer Trion Worlds will soon be releasing the first beta for their upcoming online game Defiance, and the developers have announced an upcoming beta will be arriving on January 18th. The Defiance beta will run January 18, 2013-January 20, 2013 beginning at 8:00 AM PST on 1/18 through 9:00 PM PST of the last day of the event. The full version of Defiance is scheduled to release in April 2013 and is now available for preorder. Players can currently sign-up for the Advanced Mission Beta 1 by visiting the official Defiance beta website to gain access to the tutorial of the game, the maps for Mt. Tam and the competitive multiplayer map the Waterfront and boss battles featuring the Shadow War and Arkfall cooperative fight. The beta takes place in futuristic San Francisco Bay Area and features plenty of missions and intense, first-person shooter action, so sign-up for the Defiance beta and preorder your copy of the game today!
Defiance is now available for preorder from most major retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in April 2013. Defiance is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Defiance website.
