The return of the Alabama Phoenix Festival has been announced, and the event is coming sooner than you might think. On May 24, 2013, the Alabama Phoenix Festival will return at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center in beautiful Birmingham, Alabama. The fandom convention will feature many special guests including Collin Ferguson from the hit television series Eureka, Janina Gavankar from HBO's True Blood, Gil Gerard from the classic Buck Rogers, Ernie Hudson and Robin Shelby from the Ghostbusters film series, actor Daniel Roebuck and artist Allen Bellman. In addition to these wonderful guests, the Alabama Phoenix Festival will be hosting plenty of special events this year as well including art shows, numerous exhibits, Comics Corner, gaming activities, a LEGO Expo, Masquerade and Costume Contest and much more.
