The Sherlock Holmes video game series has existed on PC for many years and numerous releases over the years with traditional point-and-click adventure gameplay, but last year's The Testament of Sherlock Holmes bucked those trends and produced an exciting title for the series that was unlike any other. Now, developer Frogwares Studios and publisher Focus Home Interactive have teamed up to announce another new title in the Sherlock Holmes video game series with Crimes & Punishments. The new release will be built on the Unreal Engine 3 to allow the creation of the most sophisticated graphical display the series has ever seen as well dynamic gameplay never before seen, as players truly become the World's Greatest Detective. The game will feature eight mysterious cases that cover a wide range of crimes including kidnappings, thefts, and of course, murders. Players decisions will dramatically change the course of the game and place a real emphasis on each choice and the Crimes and Punishments for each. Look for this game to release in the near future from Focus Home Interactive.
