Skylanders SWAP Force to Premiere at Toy Fair 2013 Next Week

Publisher Activision Blizzard announced today their plans to reveal the next expansion for the world of Skylanders at Toy Fair 2013. Skylanders SWAP Force will add 16 new characters and more than 250 unique combinations to the best-selling toy and video game world of 2012. In the newest expansion, players will head to the mysterious Cloudbreak Islands where a new breed of Skylanders have emerged from a magical volcanic eruption with the ability to swap halves to gain incredible powers. The Skylanders will need to team up with the newcomers to put an end to another evil plan calculated by the evil Kaos, and you can see the new reveal trailer for the expansion below and learn more by visiting the Skylanders SWAP Force booth at Toy Fair 2013 next week!

"The idea that kids can customize their own characters in the physical world, and have their unique combinations recognized in the virtual world, is an idea as big as the concept of bringing toys to life itself."

Skylanders Giants is now available from all major retailers and can be purchased for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS. Skylanders Giants is rated E by the ESRB for Cartoon Violence. For more information on the game, check out the official Skylanders Giants website.
