Developers Capcom and Valve have announced a new project entitled Resident Evil 6 X Left 4 Dead 2 that will allow PC gamers to enjoy some fresh, free, new content for the upcoming release of Resident Evil 6 on PC as well as Left 4 Dead 2 on PC. Series favorites Nick, Rochelle, Coach and Ellis will be featured as playable characters in Resident Evil 6's The Mercenaries No Mercy game mode. In the mode, each Left 4 Dead 2 character will be equipped with a special customized weapon loadout for the game, and the Witch and Mini-Tank will make appearances in the mode as well to relentlessly hunt down and kill the survivors. This free new content drop will arrive for Resident Evil 6 for PC on April 5, 2013.
In addition, Valve will add some free content of its own to the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2 when the monsters Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman appear as enemies in the hit survival horror shooter. Valve has completely recreated the characters for their release in Left 4 Dead 2 using Steam Workshop tools to ensure they stay authentic to the Left 4 Dead 2 experience while retaining abilities from their Resident Evil 6 forms. The new content will arrive this Spring for Left 4 Dead 2 on PC. Read on for more details!
